Started in the 1960's the Double Cone Trek was a 60 mile week long hike through the Ventana
Wilderness of the Los Padres National Forest. The trek started at Bottcher's Gap and went around the Double Cones to
Big Sur State Park and then back to Camp Pico Blanco. The Trek Guides were members of the Pico Blanco Scoutcraft
staff.
